At the start of each season the art department at MLSE creates a photo libary of the players, the images have to work with the advertising campaign that has been created for the season and also be able to be used for other applications like the score board / TV id's and media requests.
The stills shoot happens at the same time as filming footage for tv spots. We have 5 minutes or less to photograph each player before they are moved onto the next set where they are filmed and interviewed. Each player turns up walks in onto the set and we start 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, got to run...
Its intense fast and a lot of fun.
